Choosing the right signage for your business
Fascias, A-frames, window vinyls and light boxes all do different jobs. Here is how to decide what your frontage actually needs.
Start with where people see you from
Signage works hardest at distance. A fascia sign is read from across the street, window vinyls are read from the pavement, and an A-frame or menu board is read at arm's length. Most businesses need at least two of the three.
Materials matter on the coast
Sun and salt air fade cheap print quickly. We use UV-stable inks and laminates on exterior work so colours hold, and rigid substrates that will not warp on a sunny wall.
Keep the brand consistent
- One typeface family across signage, menus and screens
- One colour set, matched between print and screen
- Consistent logo spacing, so nothing looks improvised
